چکیده

This paper aims to determine the Marshall properties of Asphalt Concrete-Wearing Course (AC-WC) and Hot Rolled Sheet-Wearing (HRS-WC) with utilization concrete waste also percentage added into AC-WC HRS-WC as substitute for coarse aggregates. During manufacture asphalt mixtures, aggregates, fine aggregates are required in large quantities. To reduce fresh mixtures road pavement, has become an alternative. study used 60/70 penetration asphalt, aggregate, aggregate 0%, 20%, 40%. The test was conducted using tool, which consisted two stages testing. first stage, test, performed optimum bitumen content mixture a variation second stage (stability, flow, Quotient, VMA, VFWA, VIM) by performing variations results showed that performance indicator acted addition decreased Stability values, Quotient whereas values Flow, VIM, VMA experienced increase. up 20% acceptable respective mixture. maximum 35% 29%

Utilization of Solid Wastes (waste Glass and Rubber Particles) as Aggregates in Concrete

Post-consumer glass represents a major component of solid waste. On the other hand, more than 100 million tons of coal combustion ash are generated in the U.S. annually, of which 60 million tons are fly ash. To deal with these problems, two new materials were developed: “glascrete” and “ashcrete.” They have the potential of being made almost entirely from recycled materials: crushed mix-color w...

Study On Waste Tyre Rubber As Concrete Aggregates

At present the disposal of waste tyres is becoming a major waste management problem in the world. It is estimated that 1.2 billions of waste tyre rubber produced globally per year. It is estimated that 11% of post consumer tyres are exported and 27% are sent to landfill, stockpiled or dumped illegally and only 4% is used for civil engineering projects. Hence efforts have been taken to identify ...

Use of Recycled and Waste Fibers in Asphalt Concrete

A significant problem associated with asphalt concrete mixtures is the lack of durability resulting from an inadequate asphalt cement content. Additional asphalt cement added to increase durability results in flushing, bleeding and a significant loss In stability. Fibers have been used in stone matrix asphalt and open-graded friction course pavements successfully throughout Europe to allow high...
